Hey guys!
Well i've brought my zanussi in from the shed as the bosch has a few issues.

Now so far so good. However it does keep tripping the electrics. What i wanted to ask you all is it has two really big watermarks down the front and i cannot shift them!! My next bet would be appliance paint?

Vids to follow!

Darren

Watermarks... Possibly a damp cloth or sponge and a a few drops of limescale remover? Worked a treat on my sisters old Hotpoint :-)

Check out my youtube for some new vids of the Zanni:-)

Whats up with the Bosch?

Hope you and family are well Darren :-)

Dan

Hi Darren........hopefully you have better luck than I did with the 1200 spin version of that machine. Got it brand new in 1993 and it lasted 18months. Was obviously a dud machine as Ive had a zanussi before and loved it.

Rinsing in the FJ12......cant remember the rest......was awful, and it was very unsteady at full spin, I had the machine on a small plynth in the utility room and twice the machine came off it. It developed a leak after a year and I got so fed up with it I swapped it with a second had appliance shop for an older hotpoint 800 electronic with chrome door.

Hopefully you will love this machine ( I know others who have ) and have no further problems with it.

Paul.

Hey Guys!!
Dan: I did try some kitchen cleaners, its stained like a purpley colour! Its not coming off to easy.

Hi favorit! The bosch isn't going anywhere i did buy a new pump for it but it has a motor issue and thats a no go there spare parts are ridiculously expensive and i can't justify it as i don't love it as much as my zanussi's or my servis!!

Paul: Hand on heart i'm asstonished! I love the zanussi (electrolux brand) They are by far the best in my eyes. My wdt1061 washer/dryer is based on the early 80s designed FL models And it washes and rinses like a dream and the turbodry fan is exellent for drying. Though i don't use it very often.

I really can't believe how bad it was for you! Must've been made on a friday is all i can think!!! lol!! Glad you bought another zanussi after it though!

I've had some excellent waterlocks and out of balance spins but it doesn't flinch an inche!!!

It keeps trippin the electrics at the moment and theres a little water underneath. I'm going to check it over tomorrow. Prehaps the rubber from the drum to the pump has perished or something.

I've just seen my machine on corrie aswell lol

Well thanks for the nice comments so far guys.

Darren

Yea, my machine was totally made on a friday......cobbled together at 4pm, my previous zanussi served me well and was passed onto a friend who had it until two years ago.

Sorry if I sounded like the voice of doom!

Bad times. The fj1033 has a bad leak. I'm doin my best to fix it. And i've decided to try and get something newer. My dad gave me £100 toward a new washer. It will be zanussi.

Will keep you posted

Darren

Bad luck with the FJ, Darren.

Good luck with the new purchase and enjoy the shopping.

Obviously, let us know what you decide to buy model wise.

Cheers
Paul
