50's (or so the seller claims) Kenmore green washer. The washer is NOT the one in the picture!

Is that first listing old? Didn't someone on here buy that?

As to the portable set, I found that (up until about 10 years or so ago) they sold not only the stacking shelf that I bought, but a stacking kit. It bolted the two together just like a stacked pair. Due to venting, it's not supposed to be used as a portable when bolted up that way, but I like the idea.

The one in Red Bluf is not from the 50's. It's identical to the one we got at Sears in 1963.I think it may even be newer like, say 1965?Definately not from the 50's.

The Kenmore set in the 2nd picture are 1967 LKs. I notice there is another dryer (apparently a GE) at an angle to the left of the LKs. The laundry room looks familiar, somewhat like that of one of our club members.

Have a good one,
James

The folks that own the turquoise listing mention in it that the set shown is newer but similar to the washer that they're selling. They probably stole the picture from here or that club member's webpage.

I'm still 100% sure that the combo listing is the one we've seen before. I think that there was even discussion before about how it wasn't as old as claimed in the ad. How many mint condition non-working grey Kenmore combos are left? I bet that ad needs to be deleted for being done.

I understood someone in the club jumped in and bought it?? Whats up??
That machine was up before.
Everyone was talking that the color was Doeskin not almond. A 1960's color.

I'm the one who got the lovely 1965 Doeskin Lady Kenmore combo and will post pics in the coming months as I'm building a new laundry room area for all my machines. That combo is beautiful!
