Deluxe is a "pulsamatic", Imperial is a "unimatic". |

Pulsamatics agitated and spun at 660 strokes/minute and rpms. This was an entirely different mechanical design than a unimatic. I believe the Pulsamatic may have been belt driven too. Also, waterr valves in the pulsamatic didn't mix the hot & cold water for warm. It alternated filling of hot & cold water for warm. OK someone correct the comment about the mechanism and add more. The pulsamatic dryer, was that a flowing-heat (vented) dryer? Or another filtrator? |
