 It says right on the Top of the item. It is for approx a 1958 or possibly older Washer. It goes inside the Pulsator, under the Cap/Cover and the bottom Spring-Loaded Hinged Cover opens with Centrifical Force, when the Washer goes into the Spin after the Wash Cycle. It might have also sat on top of a Bleach Cup, as well being inside the Pulsator.
