Has anyone seen this? Is it really worth $8,000? Seems to me these folks are trying to fund the new kitchen with the old one. I'd sure love to have that kitchen restored. Too bad they want to rip it out.

Looks a little dirty to be asking that price. If it were my kitchen, I'd be happy for someone to haul it away and maybe give me a few bucks (and just a few)for the dishwasher and range.

Looks a little schmutzy for $8000, IMHO. The absolute most I'd offer would be around $1000...but even that seems a little crazy!

What a shame

It looks like they are going to ruin a perfectly good house

They will never get anywhere near the price

Jeez people, wash the grime off the cabinets! And where is the detail on the stove and dishwasher? Yea, I will just throw $8000 dollars at this.

The sad thing is, all this will be trashed and in its place most certaintly there will be another boring, "HGTV/Model home" kitchen with lots of clear bottles full of chipped wood and vases of cat-tails in the corner of the dining area, along with bad flooring and what, mustard orange and maroon paint? Yeah, I can see it now.

Surely they jest.
I love retro but those metal kitchens no thank-you. Sort of reminds me of a medical lab.

Say what???

Seems just a tad on the pricey side to me, too. I mean, if you bought the whole kit 'n kabootle, hauled it home (where ever that is), managed to make use of 1/2 of the inventory and make it fit your space, cleaned up (i.e., restored) that part, at that point you might justify having invested $8k in it. But not sitting where it is and in the condition it is.

Somebody's really proud of that kitchen!

Lawrence

I was telling someone about this today - seller trying to get a brand new, free kitchen by selling the old one as 'vintage'. Pity they've wasted their ebay listing fee so, but we've had a good time so it wasn't all a loss...

No Way

What a wonderful kitchen! I would love to have something like that in my house, but I don't think I would pay $8,000 for it.

It is a shame to think that these items would just be trashed.

Here is a way to make money on this..
