I'm trying to eliminate the lid switch on Maytag LAT9334AAE model, there are 2 parts to switch, if I can eliminate it What wires go Where, red, black and white, thanks for your help, Kim |

If this has 3 wires, and 2 fuses, be careful. I burnt up my control panel trying to bepass the lid switch on one of these. There has to be somone who knows how to officially bypass the lid switch on the newer Maytags correctly. It's not rocket science, is it? |

At least it worked for me. Get to the switch the easiest way you can and activate it to the on position. This will require taking the lid off . Unplug the machine! Then, once you have it in place, in the on position, super glue the living h..l out of it. Guarantee, it wont move. Let it dry for a while. I have done this several times with machines that do not have a tub light sequence attached to the switch. Steve |

just as much as any other perv, but if the machine is still under general warranty, I would suggest only a temporary defeat of the switch, like a ruler or other removable. Lawrence/Maytagbear |
