Wow, how cool is that, the exact same model! The diverter valve doesn't look like it would work properly; notice the position of the knob...

I've wanted a Hoover twinnie for the longest time, but I'd rather have a later Deluxe machine from the late 60's--1970's. Hoover Twinnies seem to be quite simple, and judging by your pics there's lots of service space inside the cabinet, better than my previous Maytag (that was before Greg sent me the manual though).
