Just moved to an old house in New Orleans with a KDI17 Imperial Dishwasher. The spraying arm does not seem to rotate during the cycle and so it doesn't wash well. Every time I open the door it is in the same place, Does this model have a motor to turn this? If so how hard is it to fix and where would you get the parts from. I can move it by hand it is not a free as I would expect but it isn't jammed.
Thanks,
James

James, it sounds like the wash arm support. Go to the Imperial forum and see thread #23275 Vintage KitchenAid (KDS18) for information on this. It's pretty much the same concept. Very common and repairable for KitchenAids about the age.
