The water inlet valve on my 806 is leaking at the top. Anyone have an extra that I could have or buy?

Most common water vale used on all post 1966 machines.

Take your pick!

Thanks for the link Dan. I looked on eBay but I wasn't sure what the part number was for the valve. The valve couldn't have picked a better to to start leaking. The door on my Frigidaire is out of alignment and keeps giving me a "DO" error even when the door is shut

Part# is 205613

This valve is very, very common! I bet any parts store will have it on the shelf, if you're in an emergency situation.

I'm going to call my local Maytag dealer on Monday for a new or used one. Thanks for the part number Dan.

I changed the valve in this 806 for a whopping $14(found in the local 'small' appliance repair store). That is all that was wrong with this machine. It was destined for the Krusher, and I saved it. YAY!

Beautiful machine you have there Gary. I changed a water inlet valve on a Whirlpool years ago with a friend, don't remember how he did it, but I'm sure it's pretty simple.
