Those Bendix were, in my opinion, one the be best looking ranges ever.

They were cool machines, my 1st machine was the two dial 800rpm version ( second hand ). I had to fit a new seal round the thermostat, rewired it back up wrong and something blew. After that the machine did what it wanted, washed for a bit, span with no drain, emptied , filled, heated.....lol.....was fun to watch but very impractical to use!

Hi Servisslimline,

Love the pic of the Bendix machine, what spin is it. The older range of bendix machines were ace.

we had the 800 spin hotpoint machine,it was forever breaking down and it was a very noisy spinner, the sides used vibrate so loud we had to wedge it under the worktop,i always hated that machine

Hi Philip.

congrats on fathoming the camera software.

I am not at all computer literate, so understand the hasles of trying to fathom computery stuff out.

Well worth it though, as you can now show of your machines!

So that is a 7128. Never seen that one before - single on/off button machine?
Will have to go home and try fathim where that one fits into the grand scheme of things.

Any idea of the rough year at all?

love the 9534 too. An aunt and uncle of mine had the previous machine in the form of the 9530. That machine unfortunately was written off by the insurance company after it got a bit wet, when the upstairs toilet flooded the kitchen.

I did ask for it and was told 'yes' by the aunt and uncle, but the repairmen threw it in the skip. grrrr.

turned up a 9520 at the end of last week, in almond awaiting scrap outside a shop on my way back from work. Bought it - plugged in - fully operational. maybe a bit soft in the suspension and will have to try a full load to confirm that, but all ok otherwise.

thanks for the piccies.
paul
