This is the first time (at least I) have seen this particular Blackstone POD. Very handsome set indeed! What I'm wondering is: do they operate identically to the earlier units with the controls on front, and, given the speed control and multiple cycles, does it use a more conventional type of timer than those previous machines.

I'm guessing these must have come along a bit later in the 50s. I love the stainless steel tops!
