Time Manager "The Cure" Edition ...

Looks a bit "dark", so let's go back to the eigtieeeeeeeeeeees !!!!
It sings "A Forest" when switched on, doesn't it ? ;-))
Here we have only white and silver ones, yet there are black BSH (here is the Bosch version)

Seriously speaking, does anyone own a Time Manager ? What about it ?

The one on youtube is amazing, but not from the current UK range. This was an irish appliance website i found it on so one is assuming there will be a new range.

Seein as there are only integral ones online atm.

Also while i'm at it.

Elux have brought out a new machine with a drying rack in the lid which lets you dry delicate and non tumble drying by heating the lid and blowing air. Very clever. Aswell as being a 7kg 1400rpm washer!

We miss out on so much sometimes.

I wish that we could get some black machines for the Australian market.

Thanks for sharing that picture.

coloured appliances

twinniefan's profile picture
Could not agree with you more Arrrooohhh, some nice coloured appliances would be great for the Aussie market, tell me do you remember the older Kelvinator fridges in which certain models were available with differet coloured panels for the front, my mum always wanted a Kelvinator 480 litre top mount with woodgrain panels, alas never got it though, we ended up with a pretty nice Philips 460 litre which had a nice brown and bone colour scheme inside and big block shaped handles, quite good frige too, lasted about 19 years I think.
My current G.E. Side-by-Side is jet black.
Cheers.
Steve.

i freakin dig the euro washers and dryers i wish they would start selling more of them here with the same specs and not americanized at all sorry but there so unique and witty.

Sorry

but black color doesn't protect you from the fact that those machines break down just a few years later. Since AEG is owned by Electrolux their machines are just a piece of crap, too. AEG has been a reliable brand in the past but okay, we can't change that now. Here in Germany, the only brands that are going to last a bit longer are BSH and Miele. I personally prefer stainless steel machines to black ones :-)

my zanussi

My zanussi is coming up to 8 years old without a problem, though have recently been getting a E90 message occasionally, might be because water has gotten into the electronics, or the control module has gone

New Electolux Insight

Hi Darren / all

As promised here are some pics of my new Electrolux Insight.

It's a great machine and the time manager really is variable. I haven't done a video because it is basically the same as my Jetsystem.

Here are some pics anyway.

Here is the dial with the programmes, haven't tried them all yet. Wash levels vary but are all quite good, although, not as deep as some makes.

Here is the control panel. Nice and easy to use. The extra rinse option on cottons does the same old fashioned rinsing of the old days. 4 deep rinses with a 500rpm spin for about a minute after each. The third rinse adds a faster 900 end.

The time manager is brilliant and in some cases has 6 different levels ranging from 2.30 to 45mins.

Hi Darren

I am much happier with this than the Aqualtis. No faffing about on spin!

The water levels are quite good really and it goes extra deep on rinse hold.

At £289 it was a bargin too as I think they are stopping making them so much over here now.

Rob

Ooh my zanussi does that too! I did a synthetic superquick with rinse hold so i had the usual high rinse level then it went extra high for the rinse hold!

Hadn't realised you'd replaced the Aqualtis with it!!!!!

What a bargain you got it for too!!

Darren
