What year did Frigidaire switch from the "bouncy" agitators and go to a regular agitator? Was it before or after they became WCI?

It was after WCI bought Frigidaire in 1980. Such a SAD day!!!

I was hoping the washer in my other post was going to be a 1-18. Frigidaire had a great idea back then.
