Brad, beautiful Hoover twinnie. Enjoyed your toy appliance collection too. But a question--are you sure your Hoover is 1955? Permanent Press wasn't even invented back in 1955.

Very nice collection of toy washers - that Pretty Maid is the one of the best I've seen!

The Hoover is great----but I'm totally jealous of your Suzy Homemaker washer!

I'm thinking closer to 1965?

This is the "next" revision of the 051x series. Given the dials and the newer style handles and rear-exit hose, I'd place it 1964-1968. Beautiful machine however, and a very rare model, the 610 series are almost unheard of. I've got a 0510, 1962 there-abouts. Check out my links. Great to see another Hoover guy around. Laundress we all await a reply ;)

wow, who knew there could be a TL combo washer dryer! LOL. Absolutely wonderful collection you have, brings back memories - the attention to detail on toys, colors back then - great!!!

Estimated year of the 0610

Thanks for your messages, everybody! Good question about the date - I said 1955 only because the manufacturer's details on the back panel read "Patented in Canada 1950, 1955"

I will be interested to hear what was the actual date of that model.
