Hey all,

I did some little videos of my Miele today with my digi cam, and I've made up 4 videos:

- Miele towel wash - 00:58 - 2.26MB
- Miele towel rinse - 01:30 - 6.26MB
- Miele towel final spin - 02:24 - 5.54MB
- Miele white wash - 01:59 - 4.6MB

I don't have any webspace to upload these to (otherwise would post links here); however if you would like a video feel free to email me and I'll happily send you the videos :-D.

Enjoy!

Take care all,

Jon

That is one FINE machine you have there! Certainly gets up to high speed spin quickly--no "constant redistribution" like I usually see!!

Thanks for sharing!

Hey Austin,

Yup... one of the things I like about the Miele. The video is in clips though, you don't get to see the spin timing - but it first speeds up to 1200rpm; maintains that for 3 minutes; then boosts up to 1600rpm for 3 minutes. It will sometimes "burst" as such before the final spin - but that's only if its a very heavy load (usually towels); but then, it will "burst, slow down, tumble and be spinning again in 10 seconds or so.

The wash videos are both done with Persil with Comfort detergent. Very nice washing powder - I love it, and sudses up nicely on a good whites wash, and most of all smells of... well... 80s detergent!! Don't show anybody over at THS that white washing video though - they'd go nuts because they've seen more than 1/4" of suds!!! LOL. The washes were both at 95*C too.

Apologies for the TV noise in the towels washing video, I didn't realise how load the TV was until I put the movies together. BTW the noise in the first part of the whites video is the dryer - the microphone seems to pick up the fan noise from the dryer quite well, and makes it sound noisier than it actually is.

I'm not sure if it's obvious, but during the rinses the Miele fills by cascading water down the window - another cool feature I think!

Anyway thanks for letting me share the Miele with you guys... it was about time I had put those videos up too! Now once my AEG is set up I can post videos of those too - unfortunately the ones I have done of it are on my laptop which is, well, dead :-(.

Take care all,

Jon :-)

Good HOST did you say?

toggleswitch's profile picture
But it reminds me of yet another story. (everyone- roll your eyes!!)

Scenario:

Game show.
MC (Master of Ceremonies) asks contestant the following:

What is a four letter word that starts with "H"

--and I am one of them,

Conestant's response: "Homo"
Actual answer "Host"

so in college this was a not-so-well known word substitution.
made for some very interewsting very public accusaions/comversations. LOL

So who is hosting the next convetion on 06 ?

LOL LOL LOL

Even I can't have my hole open for business at all times!!

This is not the local quickie-mart!

OMG the food network is on TV in the background and the chef just said (I swear to Kronos-) "Ya don't want anything too wet or too young." LOL SPEAK FOR YOURSELF!

Didn't momma always tell you NEVER tell anyone else what THEY want!!!

Ah, she was discussing creamy mushrooms with a beefy taste.

LOL OH NO she DIDN'T ...she jsut said don't run too much water over the mushroom, you kill the taste!

I cant make this stuff up! OMG
I better get me some religion fast! LOL LOL LOL

OMG It's been a very rough week. I gotta go!

SHE IS MAKING ME HOR.... HUNGRY.
