Has anyone (UK) had any success in accessing this online shop? I got in earlier this evening, couldn't find the necessary part, came back out, tried again, then got the message "Not available at this time". It has done this several times over the past fortnight.

Have they only got one server on a dial-up modem? It's so bloody slow!!! Piece of nonsense in this day and age!

The webshop usually closes at 10pm in my experience.

Thanks

That is odd, as I've managed to get into the exploded views and parts listing after office hours before now.

Aha! That could be the answer. Thank you.

You would think that they could operate an autonomous 24 hour webshop, what with them being such an enormous international conglomerate. Clearly they have monkeys running the firm [..sniffs with disdain...]

Electrolux Distriparts, to be fair to them, are usually very prompt when sending out parts. This is in comparison with certain other manufacturers who shall remain nameless. Just avoid the the monkeys that are Partmaster/Connect Distribution, they lost my parts.

I think they close the shop at night to update it, but don't quote me on that!

Tom.

I think I should call some of my old colleagues on MSN...

A website not working is uncacceptable according to internal policies (no matter which country) and the first to notice must sound the alarm.

The website works, it just says it's closed, so presumably get around the rules that way!

Anyway, the reason I was wanting parts...

...is because my Zanussi IZ16s is on the way out (the motor has become very noisy over the past week, but the brushes still have more than half an inch left on them)- WAHEY! That means a new, fabulous, all-singing, all-dancing machine!

Any idea what I should get?

Can anyone tell me if the latest UK market Bosch 1600rpm Logixx machine has a brushless motor? The brochure doesn't state either way.
