Modern washers for sale located in Elmont (western Nassau County, Long Island). Very near NYC (Queens county) border.

Steve:

I have a favor to ask of you. Sorry for making you my appliance pimp, but I have two washers I'd like to sell.. Maybe you know someone from the appliance forum you belong to might be interested, or family maybe?

I have the Maytag Epic, its the rebadged Kitchenaid, I think. Model #MFW9700SQ1, its in perfect shape, I think its going on 18 months old. I am asking $200.

I have a GE Hydrowave, model #WJRE5500G2WW, not even a year old yet, asking $200. I also have the extra straight vane agitator for it.

I'm sure you remember my appliances are all in perfect shape. If you know anyone, please let me know.

All the best,
Mike

I have been invited to view and photograph the machines, should anyone want pics.

I have bought some machines from Mike as has another AW friend. Nothing but the best!

At least the Epic is selling at a fairly reasonable price. I see too many people in my area who grossly overestimate the value of an HE front loader. If they would just lower the price, I'm sure someone would buy.

Aren't worth their retail price I should say. With a given lifespan of only 5-6 years (if that), anything over $400 seems too dear. Then again someone has to pay for all that R&D into hundreds of worthless features, bells and such that distract consumers from the fact their washer isn't what it should be. Oh well, at least there is the entertainment value.

Zanussi Vacuum Cleaners

Hi Guys.

My parnter and I was in Asda Living when I spotted a Zanussi Vacuum Cleaner.

I tried taking a photo on my camera phone, but some reason it would not store.

When I had my flat in Manchester, I did have a Zanussi tv, and it was ancient.

Pity they dont do an upright model.

What usually happens, is that someone invests $900.00 in a machine, uses it for 5 years, and expects to get that $900.00 back. They end up with a rude awakening. I had to haul a Whirlpool Calypso to the scrapper because it was so full of rust. It was impossible to even remove the stainless steel tub.

I'd say the offerings are very well priced, condidering their condition. AFAIK there were not daily-drivers either, but "play" machines.

I purchased some of his other machines and have to say, they are spotless and work brilliantly.

I plan on taking pics this week.

The seller is a great guy and is flexible with pricing. Be bold; make him an offer!

If I still had a house I'd buy them myself!

Thanks!

After looking at the photos, I had Toggleswitch2 refer me to the seller and I got a a quick response. Like Toggleswitch2 said, the seller modified his price and I almost took it. Unfortunately, I couldn't because the distance and the shipping costs would have been prohibitive. So, somebody around there had better grab it before it's gone!

I like the front loader but I have no space for it. :-(

That's a good price for the Maytag washer. I could easily resell that for $499 every day.

Many bites, no final taker. Asking price nicely reduced.
If not sold will sit in storage. My understanding is it is 100% perfect in cosmetics and mechanicals.

Please contact seller directly via E-mail.
