The flexible fins in the Maytags were one of many features on those machines that really made a difference in getting clothes clean. Yes they do cost more to run and do fewer pieces per gallon than do the front loaders but their turnover of clothes in the agitation along with their powerful spray rinse during the first spin and their long main rinse makes a hell of a difference.I sometimes let mine wash for 5 minutes then add Chlorox Splashless chlorine bleach in hot water while doing my whites.I stop it and let them soak a few hours then let it finish.Wow,I feel like I need to put on my sunglasses! Maybe all of us need to sign a petition to force Whirlpool to improve and reintroduce the Maytags.Speed Queen is the only top loader that comes anywhere near the Maytags in top loaders that get clotheseally clean without damageing them like some other brands.

It is true and reality if we BELIEVE it to be so. Modern medicine is now learning the true power of the mind.............. |

maybe you should post pictures of both machines you are using and a video of both washers doing a full load your 806 and your other washer and this is just my opinion but if you think your clothe are cleaner in your maytag 806 it must be because the washer basket is full of water and turn with an agitator. I made a video of most of the wash cycle and a short bit of the rinse cycle then the camera ran of memory. I'm in the process of uploading them to YouTube. I will post a link when there are finished. |
