Fabulous color!

General Motors was decades ahead of their time when they built these machines. Why do today's engineers lack the mechanical, creative, and artistic abilities necessary to properly design stuff? Is our educational system really that bad?

Educational system?

How about trying homelife. If your not prepared to learn when you leave home in the morning, all the teachers in the world cant educate you.

You know! That color growws on you.I remember as a little kid in the fifties my Grandmothers bathroom was Lilac and white and even then I thought it was cool and pretty.Of course before widespred airconditions, folks changed curtains and rugs in the spring to lighten up and make everthing feel cooler.Even the 54&55 Desotos had spring editions in turq&white. Thanks Bobby

Creativity and Artistic Abilities

All manufacturers want to do know is turn out the cheapest stuff that can and sell it for premium price-- It would cost money to let engineers make a real quality product.

I grandmother's favorite color was lavender. Her bathroom was in lavender and white also. Her living room/bedroom was a light green and her kitchen was a creamy yellow.
