In the Zerowatt thread Diomede wrote that the SpazioTop was the last 60 cm wide french-style toploader

Ok, actually V-Zug produces the Unimatic T (that's far better than Miele toploaders)

but this is a clone of the Spazio Top

Telcom T 800 (another antoniomerloni.it badge)

It looks made with the same moulds
My guess is that Candy Group sold this old Zerowatt plant to Antonio Merloni co.

Oh yeah!

Carlo, I knew about VZug and there's Alessandro (sassigrossi) on youtbe having one and trying to restorating the last he found.

That Bompagni wash sold even Philco and WW brands (le trovi al MercatoneUNO) still with inox outertub!!

Very Very Very Very RARE machine! The VZug are specially used for share-laundry (tipically in Swiss condos quite unexisting in Italy) and the others are for "space saving", the ancient and hard-to-die convincion that put those machine only where you can't fit a FL forgetting the confort not to bend down for use it...

Carlo, the Unimatic from Vzug is a machine intended for commercial use just like Miele "little giants". You can't compare Miele toploaders to the Unimatic from Vzug. Anyway, I asked salesmen in several shops around Switzerland which brand was more reliable amongst Vzug,Miele and Schulthess or if Schulthess and Vzug were better than Miele and I got the same answer from all of them: Vzug and Schulthess are very well built machines but if you want the best then you have to choose Miele.
Vzug basic line is actually made by Whirlpool and their toploaders are just plain Ignis,Whirlpool, Bauknecht machines. I also don't like the fact a brand like Vzug (Schulthess as well)buy cheap machines, rebadges them and then sold them as their basic line. You can find Vzug and Schulthess machines rebadged and sold under other brands like Sibir, Fust, Aeg etc.

A better question would be

'Of the machines actually manufactured by V-Zug, Schulthess and Miele, which are more reliable' This way the 'bought in' machines are excluded....
