LOL!

I just picked up the new Argos book and saw those, I think they are probably as bad as Servis. Afraid I wouldn't buy one or one of those Haus machines.

haha my thoughts exactly

The Haus machines look very Beko like, but I think they use Haier electronics, ironically some Haier machines sold in the middle east and asia are rebadged mid90s square(ish) door Indesits, so I'd rate those quite highly :-)

If they sold those here, I'd buy one!

Matt

The Bush/Haus washing machines are essentially a continuation of the Haier/HEC models.

Although they are good value but personally I wouldn't get 1 lol. Obviously due to it's inferior quality and questionable reliability.

Bush Hi-fi

is non existant, they havent made anything since the 1970s when they were taken over the "EMI Rank" organisation........most of the British brands, Bush, Alba, Goodmans, Murphy etc have all gone, the names are owned by other companies now.
All brought in from China etc, all cheap rubbish, it is a shame to see what where once good qaulity audio/TV manufacturers names being used on this cheap disposable junk.

As far as white goods go personaly i would avoid them

Arogs now owns the bush and alba names and yes these machines are rebadged haiers, one of which i have it is a reliable machine hasnt had any breakdowns since we got it a over a year ago but it will be replace soon anyway by the new hotpoint im getting. the only thing i really hate about my haier is the very very long wash time, 2:24 for a cottoons 40* wash extraordianay when compared to my nannys 8 year old Elux which does cottons 40* in 1:10.

that was the only annoyance I had with my Beko. It was a good machine, proved reliable and had good wash performance but it just took bleedin' ages. My Miele does 40 cottons in 1hr15mins max - much better wash time. It's a darn sight quieter too.

They're Argos Own-brands now

The rights to the Bush trademark were purchased by Argos (a large catelogue retailer in the UK and Ireland) back in 2008 and are exclusive to their stores.

Old British brands, Bush and Alba became Argos-only in 2009.

Slight change of direction but..

I was flicking through the pages of an Asda Walmart catalogue on the weekend and came across a Zanussi vacuum cleaner!!! When did that happen?!?!?!?

It's a re-badged Electrolux cylinder. Makes sense them being the same company

thanks, occurred to me after posting that this might be the case. Just seemed very unusual at the time and didn't take a good look!

Unusual Zanussis....

Robert Dyas are also selling a couple of Zanussi irons (and Electrolux) at the moment. That made me look twice too.

Didn't buy one as the features wern't as good for the price as other more established iron brands like Tefal & Morphy Richards.
