Hi guys,

Well, i relented and bought this Simpson clothes dryer which is a matching pair to my 1958 Simpson Fluid Drive washer.

For the moment, a dear friend in Melbourne Vic is going to pick it up for me and take it back to his farm for storage as i simply do not have the space nor money to have it transported 2 states away to Brisbane QLD at this point in time.

I do have to thank Ash for alerting me to it.

Regards
Leon

P.S: I actually got it for AU$60.00 not $70.00!

You learn something every day ...

I didn't realise Simpson had ever made full-sized dryers like that, and certainly not so long ago. I'm only used to the smaller (I think our US friends would call them "tiny") models from the late 60's/early 70's onwards.

Great that you now have a matched pair!

Nick
