Yes, this is a Norge based product. My friend Sam had one of these under the Crosley brand and it was nothing but trouble. He finally threw it out for a Kenmore 29" model he likes very well. |

This is a much later version than the Norge big-fan dryers. Instead of blowing heated air through the drum, this one is a vacuum-type like most other dryers. Lint filter in the front, but inside the drum. These typically have lower wattage heaters in electric and lower BTU output in gas. This is a match to the Admiral -- Magic Chef (The Spirit of Norge) based washer in the Deluxe forum. This dryer was most famously the "Performa" line from Maytag but also sold under all the other brands as well.
