I have in my posession which I found this week at an abandoned aplliance shop/store a white & turquoise 1950's Philco wringer washer. 3 vane cast metal agitator, clockwork timer operated bell, turquoise porcelain coated tub,two levers, one for pump & the other for the agitator. I got the pump apart by drilling then hacksawing the screws in half & the friction coupling needs to be removed -how to do this?- to remove the impeller.
The white wringer portion is leaking oil so I would try using silicone unless you otherwise recommend, but the main tranny is fine. The machine has it's original Packard motor but I need to get it rewound.
