Well... Compare it to a modern dishwasher. For the 350 pricetag, you'd get a 'decent' model dishwasher, most likely all plastic and quite possibly noisier. Depending on the brand/model, it may or may not have a filter and the racking may or may not have a decent amount of coating to prevent rack rustout. You would, of course, get a new warranty which most likely would be only a year p/l. I know I'll be burned at the stake by the diehard K/A guys for saying this, but I'd put this Maytag dishwasher up against quite a few of the K/A's (of it's time anyway and maybe even quite a few of the NEW models...). The price might be a bit high for someone who wants it for a collection, but for someone who might want a vintage daily driver, this could fit the bill nicely IMHO. RCD |
