The washer I was trying to identify last week turned out to be a McClary Easy Spiralator.

I like the chrome handle to activate the wringer.

The only thing wrong with the washer is, I can't get the cap to screw onto the agitator post. It works fine if you hold your hand down on the cap while its washing. As soon as you let go,the agitator floats up and off its post. How can I fix this?

the tub looks great, that chrome on the wringer is too much, love the control handle! that machine is just wonderful! i never thought much about wringers till this summer when i got 2 of them, one works, one does not. the one that does is a kenmore and i'm hooked on it. i use it several times a week to do laundry! it is too much fun! i don't know the age of yours but someone here probably will. i would assume that agitator is bakelite, looks like it to me. enjoy it and lots of pics of it washing and wringing please! | ||
