OOOH! A 1964 LK. Probably one of the flashiest Lady Ks of it's time with all the chrome and lights it had. This had a full width console light, as well as a dial and tub light.

I'm guessing the dryer is an All American model from the later 60s/early 70s.

Gordon, this is a good match for your 64 LK dryer, and not all that far away.

Have a good one,
James

Memories....

Wow, I had to gulp looking at that. My Dad bought one just like that for my Mom, who never got to see it. It was coppertone, and I can remember having the buttons on the lower right comitted to my memory for each different cycle. I want to say they were lettered in a modern looking font. My Dad had a few pink T shirts, and I managed to shrink a wool skirt of my sisters to a fourth of it's size learning to do laundry. My Dad was pretty good about it, my sister not so much. Thanks for posting this.

That was our washer from 1965-1980's. Not only did it have a tub light and console/dial light; it also had 3 motor speed lights and an orange filter light. I still have the console. It's as heavy as a DD washer is today...LOL!!! Ours was shaded coppertone too!

Yes, the lights!

I remember they were a very good night light for bathroom breaks. The machine sat in the corner of our kitchen next to the hallway where the bathroom was. Dad liked to watch tv with all lights out, me being afraid of the dark then, loved the lights!

Please send your check, or money order made payable to "Launderess" to the address listed in profile! *LOL*

What are you "nervous" about, or maybe I shouldn't ask?

Glad to have helped yet another vintage appliance seller find a home for something. I really ought to start charging for my matchmaking skills! *LOL*

Please remember to take snaps and let us know how it goes.

L.

Hey Guy's I talk to the The lady about the machine again, She said she had to work this weekend and would be free this week coming. So the thing is... that an older lady owns the machine next door to here and only uses it once every two weeks! from the pics it looks great, Well she have to make arrangement's with her to see the machine soo.... I am wondering ...
1. Does this machine has Roto-Swirl agitator with a detergent cap, or that black cap with lines?
2. A bad sounding wig wag?
3. And the Basket how does it look ?
4. Does anybody have a pic of that washer ?

Well I will see the machine hopefully on tuesday evening. I hope everything works out , keep you guy's posted.
Thanks again launderess.
