I ended up purchasing the 52 Hotpoint dishwasher off of ebay. Steve and myself went over to CA to pick it up. 4 hour drive each way. Paid more in gas one way than I paid for the machine. I'm hoping to use the motor and pump off of it for my other hotpoint dishwasher I have. The dishwasher isn't in quite as good of shape as what shows in the ad. Also in the ad she mentioned she had the original instruction booklet for it, but when we got there she claimed she misplaced it. But would send it as soon as she found it. Here are the pictures of the dishwasher after I unloaded it out of the truck. first one is the underside of it. |

After the pump and motor are removed from the unit I have no need of the rest, so if there is a part someone wants just contact me at ford65pu2001@yahoo.com and we can discuss how to get the part or parts to you. Im not looking to sell the parts just give them away to anyone who can use them. I just ask that you pay for shipping.

was different from other impeller machines like the one i have by modern maid? that impeller looks exactly like the ones i got from larry this summer at modern parts. and he has more left. it's dead on, holes in the sides and all. so if you're looking for an impeller i think larry has one that will fit. it i think it's a very handsome granddaddy of a machine! love those racks! |

no the Hotpoint impeller is different than the D&M impellers, but I sit corrected. I took the impeller off of my 1950 Hotpoint, and the spare D&M Impeller that I have does, in fact, fit on in place of the Hotpoint impeller. The only difference is the side flat fins, which if I remember correctly from comments here on aw.org, were to aid in the drying cycle. Mike |
