My guess would be somewhere around 1988 or so. The indent at the base is similar to that of a Kenmore, and it was around that time when they first showed up.

Have a good one,
James

I think these evolved to Magic chef, then to Maytag Performa's. we had the M. chef and it went thru 2 or 3 sets of drum rollers in 10 years.

Also sold as Crosley

This is the dryer my buddy Sam had under the Crosley brand. He bought it new sometime around 2000. He had nothing but trouble with it. Replaced it with a Kenmore.

Moffat

Here in Canada, I think Moffat was in some way Norge's Canadian counterpart. My aunt and uncle had a 60's model Moffat dryer, which was pure Norge. It had the wide drop-down door, with a button release. And the exhaust was extremely quiet, characteristic of positive airflow.
