Thanks to the great pictures taken by Redcarpetdrew about the "operation" on an 806, I actaully this morning took the front off of my 710 and looked inside. I'd been unhappy with how slow it drained and an odor problem (which is the drain).
I was amazed how simple, clean and un-cluttered it was. The pump came off in minutes, and I found it clogged with hair and also discovered that it needed to be moved so the belt has more purchase.
It's done and is actually I think a little quieter, too!
