They look very nice indeed!

Are they 24" models or full sized?

Mikey, glad another family member has a front load set. I do love the dryer window too, it rocks. :-)

How do these perform ?? How about in comparison to the "Whirlpool Duets" ??

Full size

The washer and dryer are full size...about 27 inches wide and about I would say around 39 inches tall...she does not need a pedestal to get them higher. As far as performance goes they are excellent and they were rather reasonable from Best Buy/...$799 for the washer and $500 for the dryer. They do take some time though ..when I put an extra rinse and prewash on a Normal cycle it was estimated to take over 1.35 hours to complete the cycle. The drum is about 3.4 cuft an the dryer is about 7.3 cuft. The dryer is fast and both hold alot of wash.

I have the full size LG washer and dryer, They do a wonderful job in cleaning, but they do take time to do the job. I sanitary cycle is well over 2 hours.
They are wonderful for big and bulky items.

I hope your sister doesn overload these LG's! Fortunately with front loaders it is harder to interfere with things once the cycle has started!

Lets hope things inmporove laundry wise for your Sisters family!!!

Good Luck with the LG set - I have the combo 3677. The times are long to complete the cycle. But it does do a excellent job.
