Paul Looking at the enlarged pics it appears the brand is Korting - which I have only ever seen on TVs before, way back in the 1970s. Looking at the other items it seems to my that someone has brought these over at some point from mainland Europe as the cooker is not of a style you generally get over here (and that small hotplate is a dead giveaway) and I dont recognise the fridge either. They are not cheap though, are they? Al |

Yes right this is a Gorenje machine, made by Gorenje in Slovenia. Carlo is right, Körting was bought by Gorenje in 1979 so this one has to be from 1981 when Gorenje was first launched in Great Britain. The brand Körting was used in some countries (Italy, Greece). Today is used in Italy, Greece, Bolgaria and Germany. (and also in Slovenia for some BOL appliances) The brand Sidex was used in France since 1970 till 1992. It was a low price choice. Now, after the globalization of the corporate brand even in France is used Gorenje. Ingemar |
