Found this set on craigslist, don't know alot about the 407's. Any info would be helpful, thinking about getting them.

Thanks,
Oren

I believe this would be the BOL large capacity tub. 1 speed Febricmatic.

The dryer is a has Halo of Heat with a standing pilot light.

Good luck,
Dave

Our A407 is a great "daily driver". Has four buttons for water level (small, medium, normal, large), three for temp, and "permanent press," "normal," and "delicate". Dial has a 25 minute "soak" cycle, a "soak only," and up to ten minute wash time. Very easy machine to use and love.

Not entirely a FabricMatic but pretty close. It has three buttons for speed selection: Regular, Permanent Press, and Gentle. This washer has two soak cycles, one timed, one infinite. The one wash cycle was for all speeds; permanent press included. For permanent press I think it had several partial fill and drain sequences after the main wash with no additional agitation before going into the rinse.

I must admit I was kind of surprised when I found out how the A407 works, mainly because of the one speed motor. It's simpler in function than it looks.

Have a good one,
James
