Here's a second round of pics - this time of the Maytag E2LPS wringer washer I acquired in September. The foot pedal mechanism was already disconnected/disabled when I got it, which I didn't mind as I wouldn't have wanted to use it anyway. (although, I must admit, I am curious to see one.) Thanks to Geoff Delp for checking the serial number and determining the manufacturing date to be Dec. 1977. I LOVE this machine! It does such a fantastic job cleaning. I read that most users parked one of the wheels on the thing. It was about as popular as the early dead-man's switch on power mowers. Lovely machine. |
