Be careful of extended warranties guys, in my view if the machine in question seems a lot more expensive then similar ones, you could just be paying for the warranty anyway, the case in question is my G.E. fridge freezer cost $3299.00 five years ago and came with complete five year warranty, from Kleenmaid,(now defunct here.),when I could have purchased a similar or possibly larger fridge from either Westinghouse, Samsung or L.G. for about half the price and with 2 year warranty. I bought the G.E. because the size was about right,(although the deep freeze can be a lttle too small at times),and I like the brand and the features and I also quite stupidly fell for the Kleenamid advertising,"The very best you can buy". I dare say in the end it is always the old rule, let the buyer beware. Cheers. Steve. |
