I think this is the one that has the fast agitator strokes. I think it is orbital drive transmission.

I wonder if anyone out here has ever thought about swapping the transmissions in one of these orbitals with a long stroke helical.

Could it be done? Hmmm.... makes one wonder.....

switching trannys is easy they match exactly, what I did was just switch the control panel to another base to have a helical drive in a new panel....

No need to switch the tranny on that machine as this one has the same inner/outer tub of the older helical units. Remove the brake package, hoses, ect. and swap the whole "tree."
