Check this washer and dryer out. Are they worth anything?? The dryer looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure what model the washer is?

Does anybody know the make & models of each. My first guess was that the dryer was a Kenmore, and obviously the washer a Maytag, but that dryer almost reminds me of the one I have at home. Only mine has a sliding metal door covering the controls.

My first impression of the dryer was Kemnore also. The timer knob looks the same as on a Kenmore my sister had. That is a weird panel, and before I read Brian's post I also thought that maybe it had a sliding control cover.

Dryer a Kenmore

Can tell it's a Kenmore by the door handle, which was used from about '66 to '71, when they were changed to matching color plastic. Whirlpool used a different style handle. I think this is one of the "Match All" models that didn't have a matching washer.

Non descript Kenmore

Hi all! The dryer is a Kenmore. It was a match all type. It does have a cover that slides over the controls, but this one has the cover slid to the right. It was considered a basic dryer, but good performer. David

That is not a door that just opens up by lifting, like the lint filter door? It looked like the chrome area over the controls where it says temperature doesn't belong on back console.
