Am surprised there aren't any bids, but am sure it will sell.

Mr. Maytag got his start making farm equipment, and considering aside from perhaps the tractor and a few other items, the only other thing with a motor on the farm would be the washing machine (often powered by petrol), so why not make the thing do something else besides washing? *LOL*

Hmmm...wonder if this is where Kitchen Aid got the idea for their "hub" attachments. :)

LOL

I'd love a Pasta Roller or a Ravioli Maker wringer attachment.

There used to be a meat grinder attachment for the Maytag wringers-you put the grinder in place of the wringer-the wringer drive turned the grinder.Wasn't there also an ice cream maker attachment?Seen the meat grinders on EBay.

Unfortunately...

...I can't view the ebay listing. I did pick up the butter churn at a flea market here in Arkansas. The seller didn't know what they had and I asked what he wanted for it. I got it for $3.00. Checked on ebay and there was one listed for $275. Of course, no bids and I'm sure the seller didn't sell it. Now if I only had a maytag to put it in!
