I've closed the two Bob Load® threads that were in the super forum as they are both so old that they are no longer compatible with two rounds of coding changes and since they were in the super forum the wouldn't get archived so I'm posting this in the Modern . Here are links to the old ones

New Years Bob Load in the 56 GE Pull-Out

turquoisedude's profile picture
I have to admit that I have been treating that 56 GE dishwasher of mine with kid gloves, fearing that I might mess something up. However, after back to back visitors I figured it was time to really start packing the dishes, glasses and pots in! Witness a truly rare occurance - I put one of my turquoise club pans into the GE!

Hi Terry, I bought Hytron at Fleet-Farm. I like it because its made for hot water dish washing and when you smell the steam coming out of the dishwasher it smells like Clorox!!! Seems to do a good job and they sell two version, phosphate and non-phosphate. Of course I only buy the phosphate version

Bob load

My KD11 is much harder to load. The racks are not so user friendly. Mike

Don't know if I've posted this already, but here is another fantasy Bob-Load in my GE SU-80 Empress dishwasher that I don't own yet but will be coming my way soon because I've been a good boy and have eaten all my peas.

Hytron

From your link

Fragrance: Chlorine

made me laugh!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a fondness for that Cloroxy smell.

Hytron.

I was wondering if anyone here knows where to purchase Hytron on-line. In smaller amounts, not cases.

Thanks so much

Ray

Hytron

I called the Stearns company. They directed me to a website: www.unoclean.com.... They sell Hytron in packets.

Ken,that is the same G.E. dishwasher I did my first Bob load in when I was age 6. Packed it really full. I wanted to get them really CLEAN so I put every thing I could find under the sink in it,extra too and turned it on. Those into suds would have been proud! Suds were spitting out the front grill and flowing down he galley kitchen floor. Talk about a tub full of suds! The dial on ours was different. It was white with black letters,no colors.

A bob load in my little poor dishwasher:
The load was 2 baking dishes, 2 pans, 1 milkmaid, plus dishes, glasses and cutlery.

Botton Rack first

Post# 416639 , Reply# 31   2/18/2010 at 20:44 (5,152 days old) by brasilianguy ()

and the Top Rack:

notice that there's no middle wash arm, just one at the botton and other at the ceiling, and this dishwasher don't have the great power that the old KA's had, it seems more like a cheap fountain, but ok, I get sure that have any space to let the wather pass and access the itens in the top rack, but i think that some times some itens get washed just with the steam of the hot water!!! lol (60°C) but anyway very often i take out not too clean cups of the top rack, mainly in the middle section!! :(

That coffee cup on the processor lid is too much!

Love those Indian Tree dishes you have, Eddie, I've looked for them around but they are hard to find!

I have a Service for 8 I got from a Old restaurant here on the Cape. They are Restaurant Quality and pretty heavily glazed. Many Memories and Great Meals have been served on those plates.

Uh-Oh!

With Bob offering "Half Bob-Load" certifications now for machines that handle roughly half a normal machine (Drawers, Upper/Lower Rack Dishwashers etc), I might have to get my butt into gear :-)
