If anything, it looks like a 606? I don't see the dryness buttons on the lower console...

Drew, not all electronic control dry dryers had the dryness buttons on the console. And I don't thinnk that began being offered until very late in the HOH series or until the bigLoad dryers came out. Original 806 manuals said for extra dry loads, to use the Perm Press cycle. The standard dry temp was equivaalent to low on the rest of the Maytag line.

I thought about this set a few weeks back, but decided to pass.

The dryness buttons didn't debut until the Big Load series in '76.

The dryness buttons were introduced in the 08 series.

Someone been neglecting their '72 DE806 lately?
