Hi Guys,
Does anyone have the service/repair manuals for the 1953 Westinghouse LB-6 washer and D-6 dryer? If so, are you interested in making me copies of each, either in PDF or in paper? I'd be happy to reimburse you for your efforts.

I have the manual for the Canadian Westinghouse washer - it's down at the house in Ogden, but I can bring it back next week and scan it for you. I have a manual for a D3 dryer and while it is not exactly the same, it is pretty close!

Thank you! That'll be a great start.

If anyone else has manuals, let me know.

Hey Paul!

While you're scannin', could ya 'member me? I'm just tearing into the dryer; sheesh, her insides are filthy. 220 scares the bejesus outta me, too. But I'm determined. LOL

Keith

Remember, it's only 220 right there at the heating element.....a leg of 110 and another leg of 110. the rest of the dryer is all 110. In fact, the element can be run on 110 and many of the dryer's had the wiring scematic for doing that, on a decal on the back panel.
