ooh yea

i found them! hmm i may consider it. i'm defo getting the washer though - very excited though its not the exact model i wanted, was looking for the slightly newer elite series 90, it has a two tone grey and brown face and different buttons etc.

i have contacted the seller, he lives near me so hopefully i can pick it up early next week!

still gonna keep my eye out for the elite though, start a collection of series 90's :o) WIN!

Brandon,

Sounds like you had the exact same machine as me!
It the brown/silver panel. With a temp, spin speed and prog selector... and half-load and short wash buttons.

Can wait to see the spin rinses again!!!!!!

Keep me updated :o)

I have her!

Well i finally have my super series 90!

she's in good condition apart from a dodgy catch on the door - but that's OK we can work around it. I'm having to put together some make-shift plumbing in my garage though - all fun fun.

I switched it on, and she seems to have a healthy pump and motor! got some good ol' philips noises!

Not sure about the wash sequences yet - the program dial looks like something from a maths text book! lol letters and numbers everywhere! hehe will put together a wash vid once i get it going!

more updates soon!

ooooh lovely :D

My Dad's cousin had one of these, never saw it on sadly, it was the only Philips machine I knew of, although a couple of school friend's Mum's had the Philips Whirlpool Aqualine machines.

I do hope we can see some of this machine in action, I'm desperate to witness this famous "spin drain"

Such lovely styling as well, I love the classy look of these older machines, new ones in the main leave me cold if I'm honest.

Matt

FAIL!

I got this machine for one reason and one reason alone, the spin drain, did it do it? well i dont think it did -

the series 90 appears to have presented me with a not so super problem... I think...

due to the plumping not working in my garage, i resorted to a hose for the test run....i got quite wet at times. Anyways, main wash 60o all fine, 1st and 2nd rinses all fine. But when i got to the last rinse I had an acident with the water and it went everywhere - drenching everything!

I switched the machine off to sort myself out, and then realised the machine was loosing water - i wondered if it was flooding because there was water everywhere - but i dont think it was..the water was going down the drain??? i think maybe a stop valve in the pump might have got jammed or something.

OK so i lost my patience a little bit and thought i'll look at the pump and then give it another go when i have some more time. In the meantime i took some vids...i'll upload shortly :o)

Brandon
