Hey Guys,
My wife has invaded my Fortress of Solitude(the garage) and has made it a priority to get the garage cleaned out!

I have to make some room in the garage and the attic above it so I am looking to let go of some of the many Kitchenaid Dishwasher parts and some Whirlpool parts that I have.

I am planning to post some on Ebay but wanted you all to have the first crack at them.

I have not cataloged any of it yet but if you are looking for anything special or in particular, please let me know and we will see what we can work out.

I also have some parts that came out of my LG washer model WM2032HW which died about a month ago.

Hope to hear from you soon
Steve

KDS-20

My mothers Kitchen Aid KDS-20 still works great but needs new upper and lower racks that are in good condition. Do you have any that I could buy?

Rack around the clock

I think I can conjure up a decent set of racks for you,but the shipping will be expensive because of the dimensions of the boxes.
Just how bad are the racks you have now?
Let me know and I will check further for you.

OOPS! Did I forget to mention...

I have gotten a few inquiries for really old parts for units before even the 15 series...
I do not have anything for any of those machines unfortunately. There was only so much stuff I could hold on to and disposed of them many years ago. Who knew that anyone would have wanted to keep those old machines running and as display units.

I guess I would have to say that if it is something newer then maybe I have what you need.

If you need blower assemblies with heaters and motors I have them, detergent dispensers of various types, bimetal heaters, solenoid valves, things of that nature.
Don't hesitate to ask for rack rollers and float switches.. got those too!

Hope this helps.

Of Hydrosweeps and other thimgs!

Peter, I know for sure that I have a brand new Hydrosweep made by Westward and a few used ones in good condition. These would fit all machines from the 15 thru 20 series.
I have at least 2 21-22, wash arm supports with wash arms to match as well as 1 23 series wash arm support and matching wash arm and even the coarse strainer ring for it.
It is from a complete pump but I haven't tried the pump to see if it runs yet.

But no 17 pump parts or filters.

Do you have any of the trim-kits for 17 series machines?

Post# 411629 , Reply# 9   2/1/2010 at 07:57 (5,190 days old) by tlee618 ()

Hi Steve, any chance you would have the stainless steel panels for the KDS18? Thanks Terry

Presto-changeo

Terry, I don't have the stainless panels, but they should still be available. I got a set of them last year for Andrew but he wound up not using them so I got them back and used it on my Mother in Law's machine. I got them thru Marcone in Orlando and they should still be able to get them for you. If they don't have them or they are NLA.. then you can get them from most sheet metal places. If you can't find anyone, I may be able to have my service adviser get them or at least a price on them for you. They will probably be thicker than the standard inserts but should still fit the trim kit.
Let me know what you want to do.
We DO have to meet one of these days!
Steve

Trim kits

Ken, I don't have trim kits for the older units but have a few for the 18 thru 23 series. Have the door and kickpanels with the inserts. The 18 door panels would fit the 17 door with extra metal that would need to be trimmed but the lower panels were smaller so they would be a problem.Do you need the whole setup or just the inserts? I think I may have some NIB whirlpool inserts that you could use on the lower panel by just cutting them to fit and you can use a utility knife to do it.
Let me know if that would work or what color you need.

pretty big!

Our garage is 750 square feet which was bigger than my whole first floor in my cape in Valley Stream, NY That was 32 x 22 which was 704 sf. And like many people on Long Island, we don't keep our cars in the garage, Just all our "stuff."
The house is 2800 sf under air! Just for the record.
An sorry, no tanks for a 14.. In fact, I wish I hadn't tossed the tank from my 19...I would have turned it into another KDS18!

Thanks Steve, I will check with Marcone and see what they have. You are so right, one of these days we really have to meet. If you are ever going to be anywhere close let me know. I would love for you to come over. Terry

Your LG Washer:

Hi! Steve, I'm curious to know what happened with your LG Washer, Model WM2032HW and how long did you have it? Had you ever before more recently had any problems with it at all?

I've got an 8-year old LG Compact Combo that I've actually had real good luck with. I've been thinking if I was to ever look into buying a new Washer again, I'm thinking about getting another LG, but I would get only a Washer, instead of another Combo. The Combo takes way too long to do a full Cycle Wash, Dry and Cool-Down. I would just plan to get the separate matching Washer & Dryer, but I'm definitely not interested in the newer Models with the Steam Feature however.

I'm not too sure as to which Model that I would look into, but I have seen the newer Rear Control Panel Models that are Badged Sears Kenmore and they would be backed by the Sears M/A contract.

Peace and Kind Regards, Steve

wow steve!

your garage is about as big as my whole house! no wonder i feel a bit cramped with 35 dishwashers and about 15 washers and dryers in it!

at this point i don't think i need anything you mentioned except a hydrosweep, can always use another one of those. they make nice wall hangings!

It works..

The email address in my profile works, but for some reason, some of the emails I received from members was wiped out along with about 6 months of messages the other night and Hotmail cannot figure out why! So If I missed anyone's messages or you did not receive a response, please just resend your messages and I promise to attack them tonite thru the weekend.

Look what I found!

I forgot that I had this complete Power Module pump in the attic. I thought I had tossed it long ago but no!

It is from a Kenmore Ultrawash with the center tower as you can all see, but it will also fit the newer machines with the transfer of the top of the housing which has the upper spray arm adapter built into the top of the pump.

Let me know if you are interested in it before I put it on Ebay.
I also have quite a few of the K/A silverware racks to get rid of. I will post those next.
Steve

I doubt I will ever win!

Drew, your suggestion is well taken but as many of the guys here who are married will attest to, they always find a way to win!
I am trying to get rid of some stuff and organize other stuff so that we both will benefit and have some extra room in the end to collect more "stuff!"
