I say, in the spirit of the Olympics, we should create our own Olympic games. Just think of some of the events we could have? To name a few....

1) removing and replacing bellows clamps
2) dislodging a stuck Maytag Agitator
3) the ultimate "BobLoad"

Instead of medals, we could hand out painted timer dials on drive belts.

Your thoughts?

Davy

Super?

I like this idea, but I wonder if this thread should be posted in the Super section. I posted something similar to this in the Imperial section, and it got moved over to the Super section. I was told that Imperial was strictly for vintage machines.

Not really sure where this would have gone. Uni can feel free to move it to Super if he deems it appropriate.

Here's another one:
how about a race to see which GE FilterFlo or Hotpoint moves the furthest on the floor with an unbalaced load during spin?

Here's some more...

Figure Skating Spin Cycle
Frigidaire Agitator Pogo Stick Jump
Spiralator Spiral
Front Loader Tumble Gymnastics
Westy Slant Front Downhill Skiing

And, why not program the xylophone on the old Westy dryer to play the Olympic theme?

Let's see who can install a Frigidaire water bellows the fastest without pre-stretching the bellows, and no aids of hot water, soap, etc...

I was thinking along the lines of the Frigidaire 'High-Thump"...

LOL, Joe! That wouldn't work as these would be the Appliance Olympics, NOT the Appliance MIRACLES...

Yes, "High Thump" sounds more fitting. I was racking my brains to think of a sport that matched the up-and-down motion of the Frigidaire agitator. Keep em coming!

I'd love to see some Suds Cake! I'd be hitting "Suds Return" over and over again!
