I ran to an auction last night and picked up this little gem. It looks big, but I'd say it's about a foot wide by about 10" tall, give or take a few inches.

Robert I think maybe you are the only one that can see the photo? I only see his profile photo of washing machine agent guides.

Nope, not showing up.

Are you using a code like:

< and then ... img src=

and put the url in after the equal sign. Then at the end of the url put the other > thingy.

When you whiz by the first four pix, it looks like a giant, delicious bottle of Maytag Automatic Rootbeer. Very thirsty now!

Guys, here's a direct link to the photo. For some reason the height and width fields in the source code are blank (which will result in no photo being displayed in some browsers).

Yeah, no pix here. Using XP. And the whole thread is really kind of jumpy when I scroll down--as if it was loaded with pix.

Thanks for the link Jeff.

Todd - this is an awesome sign! I've seen ads in Maytag News for this sign and other from around 1952 - 1954; never seen one in person.

Thanks, Jeff.
Ralph, my browser is jumpy on this thread as well.

Ben, thanks for the approximate years. I was wondering.

The sign lights up nicely. The original flourescent bulb & socket have been replaced by a small ropelight-type light. The original setup was included with the sign, though. This is the first one like this I've seen.

I'm having the same problem:

When I'm scrolling down on all of the Postings, my Pages are Wavy. I did get to view the Sign through the Web-Address given by JeffG, by right clicking onto the Address, then selecting Create Shortcut, then going up to my Browser Window, putting the Curser in the Window and clicking on Control & V, then clicking on the I-Con Web Search. The Pix of the great looking Maytag Sign opened right away. Good luck to everyone who hasn't been able to view the Pix, maybe you can try what was suggested to me, as to how to get around items not opening.

Peace and Kind Regards, Steve
