As I told all of you before,I got one of these for a steal ($125) and was able to register it at Sears customer service where they activated the warranty and came out to replace the door lock assembly 3 weeks ago and came earlier today to replace the front control panel frame. It now works perfectly and I adjusted (increased) the water level just beneath the base of the opening.I am very pleased with the outcome of the laundry and get paid top dollar to take laundry in for local folks who were using our now shut down laundromat. It's going to reopen as soon as I get the new plumbing and electrical lines installed and hooked up.We are having the city install all new sewerage that will eliminate the need for the septic systems anymore and probably increase our flow of laundromat customers. So,for now,I am playing Chinese and "No tickey,no laundry!" Since this past Monday,I have washed, dried and folded about 45 loads of wash and got out stains the customers were afraid would never come out. quite impressed, they made positive comments not only to me but also to Pete,my boss, who was glad we got the new Speed Queen front loading stacked commercial units. I hope they're as good as this Frigemore in getting the clothes that clean. The detergent I use is the regular (not HE) Gain with Bleach powder. I use just 1/2 measure along with splash free Clorox bleach (only for whites) and Gain concentrated fabric softener. The results have been outstanding and the suds never come above the glass window. They just splash all over the place and by the second of three rinses, the water is crystal clear!YAY!!!! I took advantage of the offer and bought an extended 2 year service plan for $89 from GE.They work on all brands.Sears wanted $240 and it would not include the current 10 months that came with the unit. GE's coverage begins in December of '10 and lasts until December of '12.They honer the current warranty. |

You can see the label on Coldspot's, it is a 2140. Yogitunes has the 2940 (the one with the time-remaining display window) The 2140 has a simple on-off pressure sensor which lets the computer know when the water is deep enough. What you adjust with the screw is the point at which it trips. The 2940 has an analog pressure sensor, which means it reports the water depth as a varying value to the computer. This permits it to increase the water depth for "Bulky" or other cycles which use more water. Those don't have the adjustment screw.
