Model # DLW330RAW, bought in 2002. I'm guessing it has something to do with the water temp selector. Mom had a repair guy put in a new clutch & belt, and he had it tipped backward & with the console resting against the wall...maybe he knocked something loose?
Both water lines are attached & on all the way, but any temp selected washes & rinses in HOT water.
We discovered the wierd quirk with Amana drain hoses (have to be above a certain point) due to a blocked drain. Whose bright idea was this?? We couldn't figure out at first why the darn thing wouldn't fill up.

Is it possible that the Water Inlet Valve Wiring might have possibly gotten disconnected on the Cold Water Side, or the Solenoid has happened to go bad on the Cold Side?
The Cold Side might also have some Sediment plugging the opening on the Valve, where the Hoses connects, or the Screens might have gotten too clogged to allow proper Water Flow.
This is just my thought about some things to check out, before deciding to do anything major, like looking into replacing the Washer.
Peace and Kind Regards, Steve SactoTeddyBear0503...

Perhaps the hoses got reversed. If not, maybe the wires on the fill valve got reversed. There should be a document in the console that has a wiring schematic in it. You can verify the wiring.
The cold temp sensor is shot, have to wait until Monday to get a replacement. In the meantime, we simply stuck a two-way on the hot inlet and ran both hoses to that, with them open half-way.
