My neighbor is getting rid of an older style Whirlpool washer(TL with the white slanted back panel...shredmore?). He states that the washer squeaks and does not spin out the water properly. Could this just be a belt issue, or, a transmission problem.
He also is getting rid of a MOL GE dryer(white slanted back panel) because he states that it takes over 2 hours to dry a load of clothes(Well, if the washer is not spinning out the water properly, the dryer has to work harder to dry the wet clothing). Any thoughts or ideas? He is replacing them with a Maytag FL set and is eligible for the CT appliance rebate. | ||
