Jon I'm so glad the two of y'all got to meet. I'm fascinated!!!!! with these machines. I know the big knob, by its colours, has to be water temperature knob. What's the little knob abouve it (like at 2 o'clock) as well as what appears to be some sort of opening or something below the door almost at the base. Details man, what all the selections say. Please!! Thank you in adavance Bob

Hey all! brent-i hadnt seen anything like that until i paid this place a visit! i love it. i think were goin back tommorrow:D The final spin is 700rpm for about 4 mins i think. they do still make commerical ones i dont know if they wash the same though.jon may no but im not sure. all in all the cycle was just over 30minutes! rapid or wot! & those deep rinses are somethin else! its crazy seein it take off with so much water in it! bob-to the left of the machine is the progress dial so u no where ur at and the little dial is for the temp hot/warm/cold..then on the right theres a pilot light. amazing machines! Hi Guys Welcome Darren, Looks like your whippin up a storm with those machines, look like they have seen lots of action, BUT plenty more life left in them!!! How dry do the clothes feel after the 700 fling??do you use an extractor as well...and of course the dryers... I can just imagine the reaction of all these "Dot Cottons" thinking what planet have we come from...oh to be a laundry repairman.... Nothing like a Russian laundry article I read where their vast tumbler machines are steam / presurized on the spin to force more water out... I`ve posted a link to some machines here, the Keymatic is closer than you think?? Enjoy, Mike CLICK HERE TO GO TO chestermikeuk's LINK |

Terry - I thought they boys said that they spent 2.40 pounds. (pennies are pence there) The conversion rate is $1.74 per pound so that is about $4.18 per load. Before you freak out Brits pay with their gross pay and taxes are taken out by way of a VAT (value added tax) when buying items. We pay for things here with our net pay.. so $4.18 @ 65% = $2.71 in adjusted dollars. Foreigners love our system because cash transactions are effectively not taxed. Over there you pay taxes (heavily) with every purchase. Same as Eurpoean continent. |

Hey Everybody, toggleswitch-number of rinses on the schuthless were 3! 3 damn high water level rinses! i'm going back tommorrow as is jon:D so if he's good & remember's his cam we will have more pix:D spiraclean-i agree totally i think other frontloaders should lead by example & distribute like that! Mike!-love the gallerys! is tht ur keymatic!! i love them! would love to see one working! back to your question about the schulthess!- 700rpms plenty fine for me i quite like that speed. i didnt use a extractor or tumble dryer as most of my things cannot be tumbled so i took them home to hang instead:) lol there was this one lady in there who was a bit puzzled by us lol. Ciao all! Darren |

Grateful if you could tell me: a) Is the door of this Schulthess machine hinged to the outer tub? b) Is it hard-mounted without any internal suspension? |

jon!, do u think if we broke the camaras in their & hired some strong burley men we could steal a schulthess each?! tehe. imagine if there was an extra rinse on one of those! that would be the best rinsing system period! well i already think it is! along with the spin drain...i wonder if i could find a philips that does that. only other machine that i can think of for the mega deep rinses was an old electrolux frontloader my mums friend had! *ponders* well my logic has pretty deep rinses..nothin compared to those schulthess machines. next we can evaluate the primas! i doubt they can beat the schulthess's i love them! lets not forget our almost redundant machines at home lol!!
