I saw these on Craigslist (Indianola/DM) thought someone here might be interested in them. $200.00 negotiable.

Still looking for that perfect vintage Kenmore or Whirlpool

Thank you to the few who've responded to my post about a month ago. I've received a couple of really tempting offers for vintage machines, but I really don't want to rush. My heart is set on a belt-driven Kenmore or Whirlpool machine with at least the three basic cycles: regular, permanent press, and delicate, as well as water temperature selections that include a warm rinse. Color doesn't matter just as long as the machine is good working condition and isn't rusted, dented, or scratched.

Gordon, if you read this, please get a hold of me. I misplaced your primary contact information. Thanks again!

Rob

Oops! I meant for this to be in a separate post. Sorry!

Is that an 806?

Thanks, Mike the link worked when I created the post. Yes Vern, I believe they are 806's.

Not an 806 - count the holes on the agitator; only 3, so it's a standard capacity model. Appears to have 3 or 4 water temp options, 2 speeds, 3 water levels. Dryer appears to have 2 temp options. They could be avocodo versions of my two - my washer is a A208 and the dryer is a DG408.

I didn't look really close, but the dryer has the larger door unlike my DG806.

Wish I had some way to transport these...

I'd go down there now if I had a way to haul these. Even though I'm looking for Kenmore or Whirlpool, I'd take these shiny, almost showroom-new avocado beauties in a heartbeat. Wow!
